New faculty and staff members who wish to park on campus must apply for a permit. The permit is valid for a single year, starting on July 1, and granted on a space-available basis. To apply for a permit, applicants should have a Harvard University ID as well as the license plate number, make, model and color of the vehicle to be permitted. Please note that individuals with outstanding violations equal to or greater than $50.00 need to bring their balance to zero before a permit can be issued.
Faculty and staff members must either apply for a permit in person at the Parking Office, or with their department's Transportation Coordinator. Payment for the months remaining in the academic year is due at the time of registration. If the permit application is filed and approved after April 30, payroll deduction may not be available for the remaining months.
