Faculty and staff with specific needs should review parking accommodation request procedures and contact UDR. Persons who require accessible parking as a reasonable accommodation will not be required to pay more than the applicable rate for similarly situated individuals without disabilities who park in the same facility.

Please note that a valid state-issued disability placard is required IN ADDITION TO a “Harvard University parking permit” to park in an accessible parking space on Harvard University's campus.

Student & Tenants

Students who require accessible parking as a reasonable accommodation will not be required to pay more than the yearly student rate for comparable parking types (taking into account hours of access and the nature of the parking facility), regardless of whether such students are assigned to a lot or garage generally reserved for faculty or staff.

Students requesting accessible parking should contact their school’s Local Disability Coordinator. The Local Disability Coordinator will request any medical documentation or other verification of disability or injury that may be necessary.
