What is a Vanpool?
Vanpooling is a cost effective alternative for your daily commute as vanpool members share vehicle, gas and toll costs. Vanpool groups pick routes, schedules, and pick up and drop off locations to optimize rider convenience and comfort.
In most cases, one person from the group of five to 15 commuters volunteers to do the driving in exchange for a free commute and personal use of the vehicle. Each group has at least one backup driver who assumes responsibility for the van should the regular driver be ill or on vacation. The pick-up/drop-off points and the route are set and agreed to by the group. Learn more about vanpool perks here.
