Preferrential parking spaces for low-emission (LEV) and fuel-efficient vehicles are located in designated parking areas around campus.
CommuterChoice and Parking Services are pleased to announce the expansion of our preferred parking program for low-emission and fuel-efficient vehicles in many of our garages and large surface lots, due to the success of the pilot program undertaken by Parking Services, the Business School and the Office for Sustainability (OFS).
Similar to carpool spaces, Low-Emission Vehicle (LEV) spaces will be in designated parking areas and will be reserved for qualifying permit holders weekdays until 10:00am. Parking options have been expanded to include several large garages and surface lots across campus, which are listed below:

How to Apply
To apply for an LEV parking hang tag, permit holders need to demonstrate that they drive a vehicle meeting the EPA SmartWay Elite certification. Commuters can do this by providing a copy of their registration to Parking Services. Please visit the EPA's SmartWay certification search tool to see if your vehicle meets the requirements. Please note: the vehicles with a check mark under the "Elite" tab qualify for an LEV parking hang tag.
